It is important to know that we look at each of the people we support individually and will work with you to devise tailored support to meet yours or your family member’s needs. Any inquiry will be managed with the utmost sensitivity and held the strictest of confidence.
What kind of support do you provide?
It is our aim to ensure each person we support receives exactly what they need to enhance their overall lifestyle. We therefore take the time to chat with each person individually to see what best suits them. Our Houses offer regular health and well-being activities, sensory rooms, community gardens, training rooms, cooking group, respite and so much more.
Where are Candice’s Houses located?
At this stage, we have houses located in Moree, Newcastle, Warwick and the Sunshine Coast. It is our goal to keep expanding, with a focus on rural communities to ensure support reaches even the most remote places. If you would like to find out more about our locations, please click here.
Funding and Payments
Are all Candice’s Houses approved providers?
Yes. Candice's House is an approved provider via our sister company Candice Care, a government approved aged care and disability support service provider.
Can I combine my funding packages and fee for services?
As everyone's funding and support requirements vary, we assess this on an individual basis. Please contact us on 1800 CANDICE (1800 226 342) to discuss your options.
How much do you change for support and services?
All our costs are in line with NDIS specifications, which you can find out more about here. We pride ourselves on being very transparent when it comes to pricing as not all supports and services are outlined in this documentation. All costs will be approved in writing prior to commencing. Prices may vary depending on your location in Australia.
How qualified is the Candice’s House team?
As per Candice Care's employment requirements, prior to commencing employment, each member of the team is required to undertake mandatory police checks, as well as working with vulnerable elderly and children checks. All team members are required to hold current first aid and CPR certificates, have secured, or are working towards gaining a minimum of the Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) and many have Certificate IV qualifications in ageing support or disability.
Some of our team members have been trained across a variety of clinical areas, meaning some are well-equipped to work alongside people with specific injuries, such as spinal and brain injuries or behavioural concern.
