As a dedicated home of community services, Candice’s House offers short to medium term respite, tailored activities for our aging community and those living with a disability the opportunity to seek adventure and fun through integration with community programs.
All activities are aimed at developing various skills, socialising and promoting a feeling of connection. We pride ourselves on extending tailored solutions designed to support your individual requirements.
Candice’s House first began in Moree in 2018. Due to the success of this house, and realising a gap in facilities offering similar support throughout the country, we now have dedicated houses in Newcastle and Warwick, with the Sunshine Coast due to open in November 2019.
Founder of both Candice's House and service provider Candice Care, Candice Dover has spent almost 20 years in the industry, which evoked her passion to create the organisations. It was following an incident in 2017 that left her younger brother in need of support that she decided to take the leap. While there are many service providers out there, she wanted to do things a little differently, by tailoring support specifically to the needs of each individual.
Candice Care is a not-for-profit approved aged care and disability support service provider of the Australian Government subsidised Home Care Packages and NDIS programs. Each organisation works succinctly with each other to collectively offer Australian communities tailored and individualised support in a home like environment, delivered with integrity, respect and heart.
